The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project (Seabed 2030) is a pioneering initiative accelerating ocean mapping efforts. We help this global community working with partners across industry, governments, research, philanthropy, NGOs, and civil society to achieve a complete map of the entire seabed by 2030.

Seabed 2030 is a flagship programme of the United Nation’s Ocean Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
A REVOLUTION IN MAPPING OCEAN CURRENTS

(Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies)
PROJECT
Teaming up with the Mediterannean Institute for Advanced Studies (IMEDEA), we helped communicate the revolutionary research project, FaSt-SWOT, whose main goal is to use NASA's latest satellite to expand our understanding of small-scale ocean currents.
We embedded with the two-week expedition to create an immersive documentary about life on the high seas, where researchers work day and night to collect data in the waters of the Balearic Islands.
SPEAKING ARCTIC SCIENCE TO POWER

In the run up to the 2022 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, we worked with Arctic Basecamp, a non-profit of Arctic scientists, to tell world political and business leaders that what happens in the Arctic doesn't stay in the Arctic.

We're proud to have ran the communication effort for Arctic Basecamp before and during the event, staying in an actual Arctic basecamp that the organization set up in front of the Schatzalp Hotel in Davos.
RESTORING THE HEALTH OF OUR MANGROVES

PROJECT
Mangrove Action Project (MAP) is a US-based nonprofit which collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to preserve, conserve, and restore our world’s mangrove forests.
​
By working with forest communities, research academics, forest and environment departments, policy makers, and international policy and funding groups, we helped them encourage the preservation and conservation of existing mangroves, educate on how to restore degraded or unhealthy mangrove ecosystems, and encourage multiple generations to take an active interest in their local forests.
AWARENESS FOR ECOCIDE AS CRIME

PROJECT
We supported Gallifrey Foundation's goal to raise awareness and garner support for the inclusion of ecocide as an international crime in the International Criminal Court.
​
To do so, we helped them encourage prominent ocean actors to talk about ecocide and get as many signatories as possible to the open letter - particularly small ocean states.
